SyllableWords.net is a reference site: syllable counts, breakdowns, pronunciations, and definitions. It is designed to work without knowing anything about you, and this page explains exactly what that means in practice.

What we collect

SyllableWords.net has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no comment sections and no newsletters. You cannot submit personal information to this site, and we do not ask for any. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details, and we have nothing to sell or share with data brokers.

Word lookups

When you look up a word, your browser requests that word’s entry from our dictionary API. Like any web request, this includes standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type. Lookups are not tied to any identity, are not used to build a profile of you, and the API sets no cookies.

Analytics

We may use privacy-focused, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful — counts of visits, referring sites, and general browser or device type. This kind of measurement does not identify you as an individual and does not follow you across other websites. We see counts, not people.

Cookies

SyllableWords.net does not set tracking cookies. If a strictly technical cookie is ever required for the site to function, it will contain no personal information and will not be used for profiling.

Advertising

Some pages contain reserved advertising spaces.
